A mix of Mexican and Asian cuisines. Weird? Actually not so much! Chef Alex Lopez, who grew up in Mexico, used to work at Kittichai, a well-known Thai restaurant in NYC.
It became natural to him to mix up both cuisines. The menu is definitely Mexican though and only spiced up by some Asian ingredients.
Don’t expect to find sombreros and hanging peppers in this Mexican restaurant, the decor is inspired from the late 70s and has a nice retro look.
Large picnic tables in the center and small rounded booths on the side, this restaurant’s upper floor feels warm and fun. If you want more fun, you can also check the space downstairs for your party.
